Lot.1003HXX DEAD STOCK BLUE
- These jeans are a collaboration with Warehouse. While based on the 1937 vintage jeans, it also follows the fabric and details of the 1941 model, from the early stage of World War II. The jeans are not a complete reproduction of the vintage jeans, but rather Hinoya's original specifications. The most distinctive feature of the jeans is that the rolled seam of the back yoke is sewn in the opposite direction to that of ordinary jeans. This is a very rare specification that is found rarely among vintage XX jeans. The silhouette is a slightly wide and straight fit typical of this age. The fabric is WWII selvedge denim of “deadstock blue”, which WAREHOUSE has poured its heart and soul into producing. This denim expresses the indigo hue that has been oxidized after decades of storage in warehouses. Also, it is a faithful reproduction of the yarn count used in vintage jeans of the time. In addition, as this is a special model, a woven name symbolizing our collaboration is sewn on the back side of the waistband.
