8oz. SPECIAL WOVEN STRIPE DENIM WORK COAT
- "Sugar Cane" has reproduced the HEADLIGHT stripe denim work coat based on vintage. This season features woven stripe denim items, which were originally advertised in 1914 and are now almost non-existent in vintage collections. Rather than a print, the stripes are woven into the fabric, clearly positioning it as a competitor to Stifel’s Wabash stripes. An analysis was conducted using a fabric swatch attached to a novelty notebook distributed in retail stores. The fabric is made from No. 10 cotton thread in three colors—indigo, natural, and charcoal—woven in a left-hand twill.
The design is a work coat that retains elements of a sack coat, with a silhouette featuring an A-line and no stand collar. Before the introduction of special sewing machines, features like eyelet buttonholes and bar-tacks were not used. All buttons are changeable, and the collar and cuffs can be adjusted using two buttonholes. The pockets are attached with double stitching, sewn twice using a single-needle machine. - Main Fabric: 8oz.Woven Stripe Denim（100% Cotton)
