- This Type L-2B H-type is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's" based on vintage. The L-2B flight jacket, designed for light zones, can be classified into four types based on materials and details: early, mid, late, and final models. The early model with MIL-J-7448C spec was produced until 1960, featuring matching colors for the outer shell and lining. The mid-model, produced until 1964 under MIL-J-7448D and MIL-J-7448E specs, introduced a rescue orange lining for reversibility, aiding rescue operations after crashes. The late model, from MIL-J-7448F to MIL-J-7448H specs, saw changes in appearance, removing epaulets, pocket flaps, and zipper end flaps. The final MIL-J-7448J model reintroduced pocket flaps.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the leather string forcibly.
