"BLACK TIGER x GOLD DRAGON"
- The main side features a black tiger pattern that stands out against a crimson-acetate body. Taking advantage of the characteristics of shiny rayon thread, the embroidery is layered using intricate needlework to express the fur and stripes of the tiger despite the monochromatic coloring by using a three-dimensional effect and shadows. Based on a vintage Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) made in the early to mid-1950s, this work features not only the tiger but also Mt.Fuji in the background, all in a single color. The sleeves are switched with black acetate to match the black tiger, and including ribs and piping, this chic Sukajan is composed of red, white, and black colors.
The reversible side features a golden dragon in rich color on a green body. The color of the embroidery threads, which have been discolored over the 70 years since it was made in the 1950s, has been reproduced, and faded gold embroidery threads are also used for the dragon. In addition, the golden dragon is on the back while the white dragon is on the chests, and the word "JAPAN" is in larger block letters than usual, all of which are reproduced following details of the vintage Sukajan. - Main, Lining: 100％ Acetate
