- Tailor Toyo has faithfully reproduced this Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) from the early 1950s with an eagle in the center and waves spreading around it. At the time, the expression of Japanese waves, which captures the moment when the heads of the waves collapse and splash, was interesting to U.S. soldiers and was incorporated into the Sukajan. The tricolor ribs stand out in the faded black acetate fabric. The reversible side features a large embroidered dragon that covers the entire back. Mt. Fuji is depicted at the bottom to add depth and express a sense of grand scale.
