- The Mitchel pattern camouflage fabric was adopted as the official military standard for tents and helmet covers for camouflage effect, but when the Vietnam War era began, jackets and trousers were manufactured as locally made products. Because of the custom-made nature of these jackets and trousers, they are rare, but several types of vintage jackets and trousers can be found. Like the frogskin-pattern fabric used in World War II, these pants are printed on both sides, with the jungle and desert versions on each side. The material used for these pants is a thick satin lining on the jungle side, and the pants have been aging-processed during the finishing process.
