- The 15oz denim jeans from "STUDIO D'ARTISAN", named "Sunrise Awa Natural Indigo Denim Jeans", have been released. The denim is woven with yarns dyed with deep indigo by the "Awa Natural Indigo Dyes method" and madder red by vegetable dyes, creating a reddish indigo denim. This is one of the traditional Japanese colors known as " Futa-Ai", and it had been used since the Heian period for the clothing of the nobility and was forbidden to the general public. This "Sunrise Awa Natural Indigo Denim" produced from the traditional Japanese color combines elegance and grace, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful colors of Japan. The yarn is thicker than machine-dyed yarn, making it denim with a distinctive unevenness, that is completely different from regular 15oz denim.
