PATINA HORSE-HIDE JEAN JACKET
- OLD JOE's signature material, Patina Horsehide. The aged finish, naturally expressing the look of aging over time, is applied by hand to each piece using an original recipe perfected through countless trials and errors. This leather jacket is inspired by the archive piece, the 1930s Jean Jacket Type, which is the dawn of the leather jacket. Classic design elements permeate its simple aesthetic: sports-jacket cuff details, an elegant collar, and three-dimensional patterning for the fitting lines. It also features pockets on the body and lining. The lining uses British wool tweed. British wool has low oil content and thicker fibers, resulting in a dry touch. It offers excellent warmth. Made of horse leather, characterized by a rough, wild finish with a coarse texture and uneven color tones. Deliberately retaining more coarse texture than softer horse leather types, each piece becomes a unique item with distinct color and texture.
