1940s Coverall
- This denim jacket is designed to evoke the look of 1940s US coveralls. The warp uses yarn that recreates the short, uneven texture found sporadically throughout the yarns, rather than the long, uneven yarn often seen in work-style denim. The weft uses nep yarn, dyed in an exquisite ivory color. The design follows the simple wartime-era specifications, featuring two pockets and a four-button closure. While sleeve attachment is usually the final step, "A VONTADE" first attaches the sleeves to the body. Then, finishing with a rolled seam from shoulder to cuff, it creates a beautiful shoulder line.
