OKOLEHAO HWAIIAN WORK WEAR 13.5oz. DENIM PANIOLO JACKET
Sun Surf has revived the workwear worn by Hawaiian cowboy "Paniolo."
The label on this denim jacket uses the vintage name " Okorehao", a brand that used to make workwear in the city of Hilo on the Hawaii Island.
Many ranches in Hawaii are located in high altitude areas, and jackets with a lining that protect for insulation against the cold were useful at that time. Considering the temperature In consideration of the rise in temperature during the day, wool blankets etc. were not used for the lining, but fabrics such as shirts.
The snap buttons engraved with laurel and stars are used for the front, and the selvedge is placed on the backside of the jacket.
