N-1 CIVILIAN MODEL
- "Aviation Associates" is a series of jackets released under the assumption that "Buzz Rickson's" would have been a military contractor at the time. Type N-1, adopted by the U.S. Navy, boasts unwavering popularity among military jackets. The insulating alpaca pile is a reliable material that protects the deck crew from the chilly sea breeze, but the sample and functional design are also an important factor contributing to the support for the N-1. The front closure is a distinctive double-closure system with both a zipper and buttons, effectively shutting out the outside air. While the regular N-1 utilizes alpaca for the collar lining, this modified version opts for a corduroy material to provide a more comfortable feel against the skin.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the string forcibly.
