"ROARING TIGER x BLACK DRAGON"
- This Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) is reproduced by "Tailor Toyo", based on a work from the mid-1950s, depicting a tiger roaring furiously toward the night sky with a crescent moon floating in the sky. This tiger on the main side is a very popular pattern, and the stripes of tiger spots and the radially embroidered fur show outstanding skills of craftsmen at that time in its depiction. This "Tiger Sukajan" consists of a tiger embroidered not only on the back but also on both chests. The letters "JAPAN" embroidered with oriental font are also rare among vintage Sukajan.
The reversible side features a dragon design with black tones. The dragon's powerful expression is depicted by the embroidery's three-dimensional effect, making full use of needle feet. The body is made of pink acetate fabric, but the contrast with the black embroidery harmonizes the color of the jacket, and the ribs with a color scheme that matches the embroidery tighten the overall balance. You can enjoy the vintage Sukajan feel with a very different impression on both sides of this Sukajan. - Main/Lining: 100％ Acetate
