- This Aloha shirt is completely reproduced by “Sun Surf”, based on a vintage Aloha shirt with a motif of a scene of a racehorse race. Among the many vintage Aloha shirts, there are very few designs featuring horses and horse racing, and they are very popular among collectors. Miami, Florida, which was a popular resort area, was an important sales center for Aloha shirts in those days. This aloha shirt shows the history of the design, which was adopted and sold as a symbol of this place where horse racing had been popular since the 1930s.
