- This Madras shirt fabric is made with a very unique weaving technique, so at first glance, two different fabrics may be used for a single shirt. However, a closer look reveals that the loom was split in half to create two plaid patterns within one loom width. John Gluckow highly praises this shirt, saying, “The combination of blue, brown, and tan is one of the most beautiful shirts I've ever seen.”
