"WHITE EAGLE × LANDSCAPE"
- This Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) is faithfully reproduced by "Tailor Toyo" based on vintage. The body of the main side is pink and black, and the color of the sleeves is darker than that of the body, commonly known as the “Reverse Color Scheme,” which is rare even among vintage pieces. "Tailor Toyo" has reproduced an early 1950s work depicting an eagle spreading its wings with white-based colored threads, and the needle work of the embroidery expresses three-dimensionality and dynamism, taking advantage of the shiny rayon thread characteristics. The lower left side of the back is embroidered with cherry blossoms, and the eagle pattern combining pine trees and cherry blossoms is rare.
The reversible side features a landscape pattern of Japanese scenes on a blue body reminiscent of sunny weather. Among them, the “peony flower” motif is extremely rare and depicts a beautiful spring scene with a five-story pagoda and snow-covered Mt.Fuji in the background. The deformed dragon and tiger on the chest are adorable, and the green ribs, which have no relation to the color scheme of the body, emphasize the Sukajan style of the time. - Main/Lining: 100％ Acetate
