1930'S U.S.ARMY WOOL MACKINAW COAT
- "WAREHOUSE" has reproduced the phantom Mackinaw coat, whose use had been unknown for a long time due to its rarity. If the pea coat with the 13-star buttons produced by WAREHOUSE last year is the top wool coat of U.S.Navy, this Mackinaw of U.S.ARMY can be said to be its competitor along with its color. As U.S.ARMY's main color was olive green, this dark blue was rarely used before or after which is a factor that confuses its usage. After it was discontinued, it was sometimes worn by the Civil Conservation Corps (CCC) and sometimes issued to civilians as temporary winter clothing. The double-layered design of the front chest seems to have been more than sufficient for the purpose of winter workwear to protect against wind and rain.
